Civil Engineering these words gives a great life to everyone belongs to this. All Engineering Departments are greatful in their individual manner. But Civil will always have a relationship with our life and plays a great a great role in the development of our country. It had many relative works together and they are land measuring, materials handling and fixing, planning, bridge construction, railway, etc., Being a Civil Engineer we can move to each and every place in the world. It had a great and wide opportunities throughout the world and also with the knowledge of Civil Engineering we can develop our own organization and can give job opportunities to many others in our own place easily. Each and every Civilian should be very proud to be a civil Engineer.

The Department of Civil Engineering was started in the academic year 2013-2014, presently having an intake of 60 + Lateral entry 12. The strength of department is attributed to learning oriented pedagogical practices by the experienced and committed faculty from diversified facets of Civil Engineering. The tutelage of our efficient faculty and their luminous service help the students to bring out their inborn talents. The department also induces the budding civil engineers with the recent infrastructural developments and modern trends in civil engineering. The advanced software are being used for training, and consultancy work.

To impart knowledge and excellence in civil engineering and technology with global perspectives to our students and to make them ethically strong engineers to build our nation. To provide excellent education consistent with the demands of industry in all disciplines of civil engineering by developing a conducive teaching-learning and research environment.

MISSION

To strive and produce WHOLESOME Civil Engineers who can tackle

•   The multiple responsibilities of analysis, design and construction of traditional and modern structures.
• The problems encountered in the areas of environment, water resources, transport, urban planning & remote sensing.
• The socio-cultural and economic gamut of civil engineering practices encompassing public utilities and services
• Impart education to process-based functional design, analysis including computer based analysis, field design problems with relevant standards and construction and execution of housing, industrial, irrigation and environmental structures.
